ScrapFIT Workout - Caesar 11 years old

A new ScrapFIT workout is ready

Workout #58- Mini Pics
It seems when something is smaller than normal size it makes it better or cuter! For this Workout you will need to work with Mini Pictures! They need to be wallet size or smaller – you can have any many or as few as you would like.

Here is my take on the workout:

- and here is a close-up :-)

The December sponsor is Paper Lovelies.

Halloween....

Every year the amusement park Tivoli in Copenhagen are celebrating Halloween, and this year I got the chance to visit the park during the week of celetration. I created the page from the December sketch from Crafty Sketches.

Everything is decorated very beautifully with thousands of pumpkins

The felt embellishments are from Purple Pumpkin, I think they are SO beautiful.

..... and here you have the sketch

I think you should give it a try, why not create a page and upload it by midnight 31st. December.

Word Of The Year 2012....

Happy 1st. December everyone :-D Wauw time is running fast... almost another year has gone.

1st. December means a new fun ScrapFIT workout is ready:

Workout #57 Word Of The Year
Its almost a new year!!! What single word best describes how you want to embrace the new year? Here is your chance to think about how you want to change, improve, create, define or challenge the new year! Share with us a layout or altered project that showcases your Word Of The Year!

Well, my 2011 has been extremely stressful at the job, so instead of one word of the year I had to choose the two (Danish) words "Mindre stress". The title translated into English could be "Stressless/less stress".

I created this rather simple layout only using paper and diecut flowers from an old Sassafras series, alphabet stickers, alphabet cut outs, Washi tape and pearls.

Our December sponsor is Paper Lovelies, they have generously donated a LOVELY Echo Park kit :-D

I can't wait to see your entries over at ScrapFIT :-D

Kirsten

A homemade banner

A couple of handmade flowers

Are you curious about the challenge, well here it is.......

PINK AS THE DOMINANT COLOUR
MULTIPLE PICS
POLKA DOTS

Today is the 13th. September which means a new sketch over at Sassy Lil Sketches and here it is.

The sketch is very easy to work with, I really enjoyed creating my layout from a visit in the greatest flowerpark in Denmark, Jesperhus Blomsterpark.

I love tulips and I "shot" my DH in front of a big tulipbed

I used a MS punch for this double punched out butterfly

A little cluster of embellishments

Crafty Sketches and A Walk In The Park.....

Just a short post telling the September sketch is ready over at Crafty Sketches. My take is here...

The photos are from one of our many walks in the park close to our home. The papers I used are from one of my favorite companies - Echo Park - and I love the colours in the A Walk In The Park series.

A close up

And here you have the great September Crafty sketch.

1st. September and a ScrapFIT workout.....

1st. September means the first day of autumn here in Denmark, it also means another new ScrapFIT workout is ready. The theme is Salt and Pepper.

# 51 -Salt & Pepper
It is time to show some Salt & Pepper on your layout or card! By this I mean Black & White as your main colors. You may use all ranges of Black & White and only 1 other color (in as many hues as you want). Do you like a little salt or are more of a pepper fan - let us see your tastes!

Here is my take on the Salt & Pepper workout.

Sunde muffins/healthy muffins

I added blue to the black and with and created a page with some healthy muffins. We are a cake-loving family, and my DH sometimes bakes muffins with less sugar and fatty substance, and with some kinds of coarse flour and mashed bananas. I must admit "real" muffins are better, but they really are okay ;-)

Close-up

I think you should give this workout a try. The September winner will receive this special FITkit

I can't wait to see your entries over at ScrapFIT.

Hugs,
Kirsten

As I saw the book cover I thought: LONDON... I have to create a page with some old photos from London, I just love London :-D

Some of the embellishments are from a fabulous Jet Set kit bougt from The Make and Create Shop.

Sassy Lil Sketches and Four White Men

I have made my first layout for Sassy Lil Sketches. I have been so excited but today is the day :-D

I made this page with photos of the landmark of Esbjerg - the city I live in. The statue is called The Four White Men, they are sitting at the seaside welcomming those who come to Esbjerg by seaways. I remember once I came by ship from England some English tourists found it very, very funny the were sitting looking out over the sea. Well - at least they reached Esbjerg with a smile on their faces :-D

I used some old papers from Fancy Pants, I think they matches the colors in the photo very good.

I love banners and here you see how I attached the end of it

And now on to the sketch:

It is a great sketch and I really think you should give it a try and create a layout and upload it over at Sassy Lil Sketches. You could be the lucky winner of a prize generously sponsored by
Apron Springs :-D

Hugs,
Kirsten

Crafty sketches......

I am a few days late, but wouldn't you like to see the August 2011-Crafty sketch? Anyway here it is :-D

I have made the sketch, and I must admit it is the first sketch for me ever. I think a simple sketch gives a lot of ways for interpretation. Here is my own take on it.....

I created this layout from a vacation in France. Caesar is laying outside out caravan on a campsite.

I made this little arrangement in the left upper corner......

and here is another close-up.......

It would make me happy if you would like to play along over at Crafty Sketches :-D

ScrapFIT Workout # 49

I am proud to reveal my first Workout for ScrapFIT which is

Banners of all kinds have become popular in the scrapbooking world. They can be pre-made or hand made, big or small. You can show case your title on it or just decorate it to go with your layout. Lets see how you showcase your banner creativity!

I chose to make a ribbon-banner for the layout from our Elephanttrekking in the rainforrest in Thailand.

A close-up of the first banner.......

.... and one of the second banner

I think banners are very versatile and there are a lot of inspiration how to create your banners if you jump over to visit ScrapFIT. If you upload your layout by 31st. August you have a chance to win this amazing prize

generously sponsored by Tessa from Perfectly Precocious Paper.

A nice cup of coffee.....

I found a great sketch over at Sassy Lil Sketches and decided to give it a try.

We had a nice cup of coffee in the Witch Garden Café and my DH shot these crazy photos of me *LOL*

When I started scrapping everyone used a lot of tags on their projects. It is funny how things come back, I think the tags really has returned to the scrapping world. I wonder when we are going to see filefolders, shakerboxes and slide mounts one the layouts *S*

Wonderful Alsace

Back i 2008 we spent 2 weeks in France in wonderful Alsace. I used the July sketch from Crafty Sketches for another layout for my Alsace album. The July sketch is created by Jules.

This time I used some old K&Company papers, I love when I find the opportunity of using some of my old stash.

Flowers and letters are from a previous monthly kit from Tidbitz In Time.

The sketch

I wish you a nice weekend :-D

Kirsten
