A Song for Grandma and a Stuck?! sketch

This time my 15th. October layout for Stuck?! Sketches was 8,5 x 11. It was the first time for me creating layout which was not 12 x 12, it was so fun trying that, but I really could use some more space :-D anyway here is what came out of it.

My son, Claus, is a playing the bass guitar in a rockband in his sparetime. Sometimes he is writing songs for the band, and he wrote this song - a beautiful rock-ballad - for his Grandma 4 years after she died. I must say that I was very touched as I heard the song for the first time. Do I need to tell that Claus and his Grandma had a very special bond?!

A close-up......

And here you have the 15th. October Stuck?! Sketch, why not jump over and check out the great takes from the DT-members?

Another Stuck?! sketch.....

It's the 1. of October and it's time for showing another one of Sara's great Stuck?! sketches.

This year I'm making monthly layouts and I used the sketch for the May layout. Well, It's late for a layout from May, but better late than never ;-D

Actually I wanted to ad some journaling, but I wasn't satisfied with the way it turned out, so I chose to make some journaling on the back of the layout.

Here in Denmark we are celebrating Mother's day on the second Sunday in May. I love stars, and this year I got this leather necklace with a star charm made of gold, and I looove it :-D
The second photos shows the cake we got at the International Scrapbooking day Crop. It's called a Brunsviger cake, and is a speciality from the part of Denmark where the shop Multiscrap is. We went to Iben's shop for a 12-hours crop, and had a great day.

I really can recommend the 1. of October Stuck?! Sketch, so I think you should give it a try :-D

I'll be off for the 11th Danish Scrapbooking Convention, 300 Danish and German scrapbookers as well as 10 Danish scrapshops....WEAHHH... I'll be back on the blog with photos in a couple of days ...
