The Nook Reveals

Who wouldn't LOVE to win one of the fabulous kits from The Nook ? I made this layout with Cæsar - our wonderful dog - for The Nook sketch-challenge over at Creative Scrappers and now I hope I'm the lucky one to be picked ;-D

Cæsar

Cæsar loves his balls, and he thinks the only reason why people come to our house is to play with him ;-D When he is playing with his balls nobody would think he is 10 years old :-D
I used paper from October Afternoon, - it's one of my favorite brands at the moment, and of course I use some corrugate which also is one of my favorites right now. The black chipboard butterfly is made by one of my danish scrap-friends, Gurli from Orion Design . I decorated it with stickels dots.

Tomorrow is the 1. May and National Scrapbooking Day. I'm celebrating the day at a crop arranged by Iben in her shop Multiscrap and I'm sure I'll have a GREAT day tomorrow :-D

I wish all of you
a GREAT Scrapbooking Day tomorrow

Mission To Create # 14

I've made this layout with a picture of my son for a challenge over at Mission To Create. I love the challenges, - they makes you think outside the line :-D

The concepts chosen for this challenge were:
Use the word TIME in your title. Use a Black and White photo. Hybrid element on your page (this one I didn't manage). Pom pom trim and Doodle around your background paper. I used 4 of the concepts.

The picture of my son, Claus, is taken the day he started at the Pharmaceutical Faculty at the University of Copenhagen, he now has a little more than 2 years left of his education as a pharmacist.

I'm looking SO MUCH forward to the next week-end where we are going to celebrate his birthday, and he will be home for for a couple of days :-D

Hugs,
Kirsten

Hello grandma

I've had a long weekend and it has gone quickly. Friday I had the day off, so we drove up to the summerhouse already Thursday, when I had off from work.

During the weekend, we insulated one of the house ends, so now we are ready to put on the beautiful facade planks. However, it must wait for some time, we first want to insulate 2 small walls, so we can put on the planks in one operation. I'm looking forward til see the finished result, when we - in some time - ends up getting a antrazit gray house.

"Hello grandma, - does your clothes taste good?"

In between all the work I made a layout for the album with Caesar. The picture is the very last one of our beloved grandma. Here we visit her at the nursing home where she lived the last few years of her life. Ceasar had only been a member of our family for a few weeks, and of course he had to say hello to grandma, who really loved dogs :-D

Here is a close-up of the cluster

Now I'm getting ready for a new week at the hospital. Most of my collegues are away the next days, so it's gonna be a tough week.

Take care out there :-D
Hugs,
Kirsten
